We know about load bank tests. Whether you are testing diesel generators & UPS systems in a data center, bus duct in a high rise building, a propulsion system on a maritime vessel or a medium voltage prime power plant at a gold mine, we have likely seen it before (or at least something like it).
We are not a general rental company. We are in the business of everything load testing. We know what to look for and do everything we can to prevent losses of time during your test, including testing the equipment before it goes to your site and helping you figure out your plan. And if something does go awry, we are going to find a way to fix it, quick!
We exist with the purpose of making our clients look good. In fact, we want them to look like the professional organizations that they are with the best team possible assembled. We are a small part of that, but every part counts, especially the part at the end (when we typically come in).
We are implementing technology into our load banks that isn't simply "out of the box" offered by the equipment manufacturers. These advancements have commissioning at the heart of their functionality. We are not talking only making things easy, but doing it "right".
What is a load bank?
A load bank can be defined as a device that produces a controllable electrical load on the circuit that it is fed from. The most common type of load bank is a portable air-cooled AC resistive load bank, which operates much like the hair dryer in your home. It has resistive heating elements in it with a fan or blower to cool them as well as switches for incrementally controlling the amount of load to be applied.
